Hello! Thank you for stopping by and checking out this blog. This entire site comes from a love for the world of American O Gauge model railroading and all the art that goes into it.
So why Thomas?
It may seem odd to some, but there is just something about this little loco that manages to put a smile on railfan faces young and old. I personally grew up watching the classic era of the television show (known at the time as "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends). As someone who is interested in film and animation, it was always captivating seeing the little model trains on screen move their eyes around and produce real smoke. The intention of my hobby is to replicate some of love and passion that went into the modeling aspect of the original series by working with the model trains that have been passed down to me by my grandfather (and a few Lionel Thomas characters here and there).
Why O Scale?
No one else is doing it! Many model train manufacturing companies have produced models of Thomas and some of his engine friends in a variety of scales. I could have chosen any one of them. But my grandfather had a giant box of Lionel and I felt I should carry on that family tradition in my own unique way (trust me, I model far more than just silly faced trains!)

What to Expect
On this blog you will find news articles related to new variations or merchandise coming from Lionel in regards to their Thomas & Friends range, reviews of models and products, personal custom creations I have made, and a current catalogue of O scale Thomas & Friends products for you to purchase if you find yourself inspired! Consider this the hub of all things Lionel Thomas. Be that new sets or layouts made, videos, running sessions, modified models, etc.
